A little family nickname with a big story.

Hi, I’m Junie—wife, mom of two, childcare professional, and founder of Short Stuff Indoor Playground.

The name began with my husband Jabe’s grandfather, who affectionately called Jabe and his brother “Short Stuff.” Years later, Jabe passed the nickname to our own children. That small family tradition became Short Stuff Daycare, my Texas state-licensed home daycare here in San Marcos, and now it’s growing into an even bigger dream.

After years working with children in behavioral health and childcare, I’m creating a place where families feel comfortable, children feel encouraged, and milestones become memories.
